Privacy policy

The principle

We store no information about visitors beyond what the service strictly requires — that is, handling the messages sent through the contact form and keeping the site secure. This processing complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In practice: browsing this site leaves no trace that could be exploited commercially, and tells us nothing about you.

No cookie, no tracker, no third party

The site sets no cookie and uses no tracker, no analytics, no advertising network and no social media button.

Every resource — stylesheet, script, font, image — is served from our own server. No request is made to any third-party service, so your browser talks to no domain other than algognitive.com. The form's anti-bot check is likewise hosted by us: it calls no external captcha service.

Data collected by the contact form

When you write to us, we process what you enter:

• your name and e-mail address — needed to reply to you;
• your company and role — optional, useful to place your request in context;
• the content of your message.

Your IP address is used at the moment of sending to limit abuse (protection against automated submissions). It is not attached to any profile and serves no other purpose.

Purpose and legal basis

This data is used solely to read your request, answer it and, where applicable, continue the conversation. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of Algognitive SAS in answering the enquiries addressed to it and, where the request concerns an engagement, the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

No automated decision-making, no profiling, no unsolicited marketing.

Recipients and location

Messages are intended for Algognitive SAS alone. They are never sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

They are kept on our server, hosted by OVH SAS in France, and delivered to our inbox by our mail provider. No transfer is made outside the European Economic Area or a country covered by a European Commission adequacy decision.

Retention

Messages are kept for as long as it takes to handle the request, then for at most three years from the last contact, in line with CNIL guidance. They are deleted thereafter.

Technical server logs, which contain IP addresses, are kept for at most twelve months for security and diagnostics.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port the data concerning you. To exercise it, write to us through the contact form; we answer within one month.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris — cnil.fr.
